Wicked is opening up a direct line of communication with customers

I’ve seen the recent posts and comments from customers who are understandably concerned about the current shipping delays and how long some orders are taking. I completely understand why, from the outside, this situation can look bad, and I want to be transparent about what’s actually happening.

I recently came on as a co owner of Wicked because Tyler had reached a point where he was essentially running the entire business himself while demand had grown far beyond what one person could realistically manage. The business grew faster than the infrastructure and processes behind it, and that has created a number of problems that we’re now working to fix.

That’s a big part of why I joined. My background is in technology, websites, and managing complex projects and operations, and my goal is to help build the systems and processes Wicked needs to properly handle the volume it has reached.

I also want to make something clear. I didn’t come into Wicked as some outside business owner who has never experienced this from the customer side. I started out as a customer myself. My own experience with Wicked was smooth, but I understand that not everyone has had the same experience, and I can understand how frustrating it is to place an order and then wait longer than expected without clear communication.

To start opening up better communication, I’m going to host a Wicked Community Q&A. This will be an open group virtual meeting where anyone can join and ask general questions. We can talk about the recent delays, processes going forward, orders that have become stuck in Bridgeview, and other general questions about what’s happening behind the scenes.

This will be a general Q&A rather than an individual order status meeting, so please don’t use the group meeting to ask where is my order. Those situations are better handled individually.

Wicked Community Q&A

2:00 PM to 2:15 PM CT

The group meeting is also just the beginning.

I’m setting up permanent virtual office hours where you can book a 10 minute one on one meeting directly with me. If you have questions, concerns, or something you’d rather discuss privately, you can book a time here:

I want this to be an ongoing open line of communication, not a one time post because people are frustrated.

The initial group meeting will just be me. Tyler will not be joining because his time is currently more effectively spent doing the work that directly gets orders out the door, pressing tablets, packing orders, and shipping them. I’ll be taking on more of the communication and operational side so that he can focus on fulfillment.

And one thing I’d ask from everyone who participates is that we keep the conversation respectful and constructive. You absolutely have the right to be frustrated, ask difficult questions, and hold us accountable. I’m not asking anyone to sugarcoat their concerns. I’m simply asking that we remember there are real people on the other side of the conversation who are trying to solve these problems.

At the end of the day, I think we all want the same thing.

Whether you’re a customer who has spent your hard earned money and is waiting to receive the product you paid for, or someone on the other side of the transaction who has already paid for the materials, labor, and fulfillment involved, we all want everyone to receive what they’ve worked hard for.

I know there are people who are frustrated, skeptical, and even convinced that Wicked is exit scamming. I understand why people might reach that conclusion when they’re seeing delays and aren’t getting the communication they expect.

So rather than asking everyone to simply trust us, I’d rather open the door and let people ask questions directly.

We are not exit scamming. We’re dealing with a business that grew much faster than the operation behind it could handle, and I joined specifically to help fix that.

Hope to see you there.

___________
TL;DR: I recently joined Wicked as a co owner to help fix the operational issues caused by the business growing faster than it could handle. I’m hosting a community Q&A today at 2 PM CT, and I’m also opening permanent 10 minute one on one office hours for customers who want to talk directly with me.

We are currently implementing an automated card processor and will have that up early next week!!

In the meantime I will re – publish the normal homepage once I do a final pass through o ensure full compliance.

I m working on answering everyone – now that I can walk without a cane or walker and I can move at 100% again I am working to get any orders out that have not yet gone

For now, we’re only accepting crypto through DePay or Blockonomics Bitcoin The 30% off coupon code is still active and can be used on your order.
